About Mohamed Rassoul and Computers of Marin

Mohamed Rassoul has been fascinated by computers and the advantages they provide to individuals and business for most of his life. From the time he was in the 3rd grade, he took advantage of every opportunity to learn about how computers work. In fact, he wrote his first software program when he was just ten years old. His dad, an electrical engineer, supported his son’s passion by bringing home old computers for Mohamed to disassemble and reassemble.

Since 2004, Mohamed has brought that same innate curiosity and attention to detail to every client engagement. His Computers of Marin customers appreciate his ability to solve their problems AND explain what is happening and how he will fix them in simple, understandable terms. They also enjoy that although Mohamed is a computer “geek,” he has an engaging manner and a relentless determination to provide exemplary customer service.

A native of Egypt

Born in Alexandria, Egypt, Mohamed earned a Computer Engineering degree from AAST (Arab Academy for Science and Technology). While in college, he volunteered with AIESEC and was responsible for integrating newly arriving international students into Egyptian culture and life. He met his American wife, Edina, through AIESEC IN 2003 and subsequently moved to the United States in 2007.

Philosophy: Mohamed believes that, although people from diverse cultures may look and act differently on the outside, on the inside we all share the same common humanity. The beauty of our differences is that it can teach us respect and compassion for one another.
